Haunted Trappings

Introduction

Welcome to Haunted Trappings. This product is a generator to create a themed haunted location vaguely set in the 1920’s and beyond. Haunted Trappings does this by combining descriptors, locations, and a paranormal inhabitant to create haunts such as “Art deco civic building on the lakeshore haunted by a revenge seeking poltergeist”.

Step By Step

1. Roll on the Location Purpose Table to determine a general purpose for the location
2. Roll on the Trappings Table to determine a theme for the location, this combines with the purpose to create the theme for the location
3. Roll on the Site Table to determine a physical location to place the generated location and the Hauting Type Table to determine the type of haunting
4. Determine the Location Room Layout
5. Roll on the Room Table and the Descriptor Table for each room of the Location
6. Roll to determine the type of encounter present in each room

Required Materials

• One twelve-sided die
• One eight-sided die
• One to four six-sided dice (with pips rather than numbers)
• Note taking tool (digital or analog)
